Each HAVEN PARK  has different opening times and so you are guided to look at the availability page to be sure that the lodge will be open at the time you wish to visit. No. Our lodge is designated a complete no-smoking zone. It not only smells and so is annoying to us and other guests who may follow you, but it is now against the law (you are in a public place). It also invalidates the owners fire insurance.

Unfortunately not. You pay to rent the property irrespective of the number of occupants up to the agreed maximum.

Bookings are only accepted from family groups. We do generally not accept parties where there are more than three adults of the same gender, per party. If this is the case you should send an email to verify prior to booking.

Our reputation for high quality often results in us being booked far in advance. We only have the one lodge  not dozens like the commercial parks and so when its  booked that’s it. We therefore suggest that when you see dates available which suit your diary that you make an online booking there and then.

(It calls at the car park of the Skelwith Bridge Hotel.) An additional service which runs from Ambleside along the Langdale Valley and back, twice a day, stops at the same place as The Rambler. An up to date timetable is often posted in the window of the office at the tourist advise post
