its a short drive to the delightful Edwardian resort of Grange-over-Sands. With its splendid limestone buildings this picturesque town has a traffic-free promenade, ornamental gardens, a duck pond, golf courses, brass band concerts as well as choice of smaller supermarkets and shops, ideal for daily groceries.

Slightly further afield, the market towns of Kendal and Ulverston are only 20 minutes away. A five minute drive will take you to the village of Cartmel. Famous for its ancient and interesting buildings, racecourse, restaurants, pubs and cafes – and the renowned Sticky Toffee Pudding, available from the Cartmel Village Shop.

Alternatively, you can discover a wealth of outstanding natural beauty by simply taking a stroll along one of the many footpaths, green lanes and local walks that are close to lakeland

Grange-Over-Sands is lucky to have excellent transport links. The train station at cark in cartmel is just over a mile away, it offers a regular daily service linking the small town to all major destinations and cities,. The main bus stop for the town is located outside of the train station, again running a daily & regular service. We are also fortunate to have a good supply of trusted and reliable taxi drivers on hand in the area.
